Position summary
Dassault Systèmes is seeking a skilled Software Developer, who has experience developing visualization software, shaders and
measured materials, to join our Rendering team in Vélizy, France.
Position Description
Responsibilities
• Defining an infrastructure to support several shading languages in a single material reference
• Developing and enhancing a new material editor
• Integrating material definition in various visualization platforms with optimal performances
• Integrating measured materials
Education
Education
PhD in computer graphics. Engineering or related degrees with a strong concentration in computer graphics and relevant experience
will be considered.
Requirements
Experience
• Software development experience with shading languages and visualization algorithms
• Knowledge of GLSL, HLS, CG
• Proven experience with C++
Minimum Required Skills
• Significant experience creating and implementing Graphical User Interfaces and visualization software.
• C/C++ and Windows Operating Systems
• Knowledge of GLSL, HLS, CG
• Knowledge of measured materials (BSDF, BRDF, BTDF, EDF)
• Strong analysis and problem solving skills. Innovative problem solving required.
• Ability to function in a team environment demonstrates superior organizational skills and exhibits a desire to win attitude.
Additional / Preferred Background and Skills
• Knowledge of ray tracing software
• Knowledge of ray tracing algorithms
• Knowledge of GPU programming
• Desire to work on end user application and commercial software solving problems in ergonomics.
